Denton Van Zan - The Dragon Slayer
Dear readers of my most modest Blog ^^,

A few weeks ago I posted the demo of my 1.5 year old Dragon Slayer in my gallery. I have been putting some spare time into reworking him. So far, I redid the model of the head completely and am planning on doing major tweaks in texturing and shading as well, apart from the ones I've done so far.

Here's what he looks like without the beard, so far not really the match with Matthew Mcconaughey I am aiming for, but I'm still reworking the shape little by little.

Thanks for reading

The head detail: revisited
Now that everythng is "finished" in modeling and the objects are "decently" mapped, I've started on redetailing everything;

The horse of the Wizard
I never used a blog before, but I feel it's kinda cool to be able to keep a journal like that. My main project is kinda huge, I've been writing on a script for about 6 months now, based on ideas I've been having for years.

At this point, the story is nearly finished and I've been developing the characters for a while now. I'll most likely finish a still from the story, in order to perhaps get the right people interested. I've been currently modeling the horse of the main character. I'm working together with Stjepan Ejic for the concept art, who has done a great job designing the armor for the horse, I'm very fond of his work, since he's got the right workflow, I needed concept art that was believable, that complied with my story and my wishes, the background of the character, the state in which he lives, etc.

Here's some WIPs of the horse. At this point UV mapping has been finished and I'm now creating displacement mapping to put the finishing touch on the horse.

While I'm working on the horse, Diian, the main character is being designed, what we have so far is more then I ever hoped for, the feeling I have, the vision, is finally coming to the screen and that's something I've wanted for a long time.
